Country French Cottage

Architectural Design & Plans – Gerald Janssen

Wrapped in native stone and stucco, this Country French cottage looks as if it had been there for a hundred years.  Varied levels of stone garden walls surround the rear patio and create a trickling waterfall where two bronze crane fountains pose gracefully.

Throughout the interior of the home, textured walls, rustic beams, distressed woodwork, and wrought iron accents create an old world ambiance. Large Chinese slate tiles, in shades of blue, rust and brown, add warmth to the living, and dining rooms as well as to the Kitchen and Hearthroom. Dark knotty pine paneling on the Dining Room walls conceal recessed cabinetry.
